Title：Revisiting Fourier series (Part I)

Abstract：The discussion of the Fourier transform in last session brings us back to topics like Fourier coefficients,convergence, Parseval’s identity, etc.,and it is felt that there is a need to go over all these issues.From this week onward, we will mainly talk about the theory of Fourier series, which is vast and has numerousapplications. We shallfirst follow Chapter 16 of Terence Tao’s book “Analysis II”, beginning with periodic functions and the inner products on the space of complex-valued continuous 1-periodic functions.
