In order to promote the international education of NPU School of Mathematics and Statistics successfully offered seven English coursesin the 2021 summer semester,with the support of the Office of International Cooperation, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of Graduate School and other departments.The summer courses consist of two scientific literacy courses and five professional elective courses. These courses were taught by 7 internationally renowned experts from Russia, France,Hungary,and the United Kingdom,including 1 Academician, 2 professors, 2 researchers and 1 associate professor. The courses were implemented through online platforms, with more than 140 undergraduates, postgraduates and teachers from more than 10 schools such as the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the Honors College and Queen Mary University of London Engineering School, NPU, etc.

The success of this international summer school will not only help to broaden the international vision of the undergraduate and graduate students and improve their English communication skills, but also strengthen the contact and exchanges between the school and foreign experts, laying a good foundation for further cooperation.
